英検３級ライティング対策

2017年度から英検３級以上に導入された『ライティング』

当初はそこまで重要視されていませんでしたが、今では違います！

『ライティング』はやらないと合格できません。だからこそ、対策をしっかりとしましょう！

『ライティング』の重要性

では、まず『ライティング』の重要性です。

英検の採点方法

英検の採点は自分でできません。

これは、英検の採点方法が全ての答案のマル付けをしてから、配点を決めているからです。『統計的手法』と英検のHPに書いてるのですが、実際どういう感じなのかよくわかりません。

なので、私たち受験者は『割合』で見ていくしかありません。

英検の採点はバランスが大切

• 英検３級の合格基準点　　1103点／1650点　（67％）
• 英検準２級の合格基準点　1322点／1800点　（73％）
• 英検２級の合格基準点　　1520点／1950点　（78％）

上記のように合格基準点が６６％以上となっています。

そう思いますよね！

しかし、次を見て下さい！

英検の点数配分は『リーディング』『ライティング』『リスニング』が当配分です。

例えば、英検３級

• 『リーディング』550点
• 『ライティング』550点
• 『リスニング』550点

ということは、『リーディング』550点、『リスニング』550点を取ったとしても合計1100点！

英検３級の合格基準点である1103点を超えられません。

もっというと、流石に英検３級です。『リーディング』『リスニング』でそれぞれ満点を取ることは難しいと思います。

だからこそ、『ライティング』を何もしないという選択肢はありません。

むしろ、『ライティング』で点数を取ることは簡単です！

キーは『型にはめる』です！

『ライティング』の対策方法

『ライティング』はたった１題です！

• 英検３級　　文字数：25語～35語
• 英検準２級　文字数：50語～60語
• 英検２級　　文字数：80語から100語

上記のように文字数は指定があります。これは、あくまで目安です。この語数の中に入っていなければならないわけではありません。

• 語数がいかないから、変な文を入れる
• 語数がオーバーしてしまうから変なところで終わる

上記のようなことは避けて下さい。

ただ、極端に語数が少ない。極端に語数が多いとなると、よくありません。

採点項目

採点項目は４つで、各項目１～４点の５段階

• 内容
• 構成
• 語彙
• 文法

「内容」は課題で求められている内容が含まれているかどうか

自分の考えとその理由２つを入れないといけません。

英検３級なら、文字数を考えると一つ一つが短文でもある程度なんとかなりますが、英検準２級以上は必ず接続詞（because , and , so , butなど）を入れないと文字数をクリアできません。

「構成」英文の構成や流れが分かりやすく論理的であるか

伝えたい情報の流れや展開を示す表現（first , second , in conclusion , for these reasons , Therefore など）を効果的に使って、英文全体の構成をわかりやすくする。

『型』を持っているとよいでしょう！

「語彙」課題に相応しい語彙を正しく使えているか

正しいつづりや意味で使われているかを意識しながら、自分の考えと理由を伝えられているか。

ここで必殺技ですが、本当に言いたいことを書くよりも、書ける単語を使用した方が良いと思います。

極端に言うと、嘘でもいいんです！

「文法」文法的に正しい英文が書けているかどうか

文法的に正しい英文を使用しているかどうか。

ここも必殺技が使えます！書ける文法を使用してください！内容は嘘でもいいんです！

英検は『英語のテスト』です。あなたの過去を、あなたの未来を問われているわけではありません。

４項目をクリアするために

• 「内容」は文字数に気を付けて、伝えたいことをストックしておく
• 「構成」は『型にはめる』（※後述します）
• 「語彙」は伝えたいことをストックしておく
• 「文法」は伝えたいことをストックしておく

と、簡単に言うと、様々な質問に対応できるよう基本的な文章をストックしておきましょう！

『ライティング』は『型にはめる』

何でもそうですが、まずは『型にはめる』ことが大切です。

• 質問に対応する自分の考え（質問文をうまく真似をする）
• I have two reasons (for this) .（（これに対して）２つの理由があります）
• First(ly) , ・・・.（まず１つ目は、・・・）
• Second(ly) , ・・・.（２つ目は、・・・）

という『型』を持っておくと良いでしょう！

文字数が足りない場合は、最後にまとめを入れましょう！

特に準２級以上はまとめを入れるのが普通です。

• For these reasons（これからの理由により） , I think ・・・.
• Therefore（したがって） , I think ・・・.
• That(This) is why I think ・・・.（こういうわけで・・・）

また、準２級以上は『Do you think ・・・ ?』と質問されることがほとんどなので英作の始めも

• I think (that) ・・・.（私は・・・だと思います）
• I don’t think (that) ・・・.（私は・・・だと思いません）
• I feel (that) ・・・.（私は・・・だと感じます）
• I believe (that) ・・・.（私は・・・だと信じます）
• In my opinion , ・・・.（私の意見では・・・です）

などの『型』を持っていると良いでしょう！

『型』をしっかりと持って、様々な問題を解いていきましょう！

『ライティング』が導入され、時間が経つので過去問も様々あります。下記内容を解いてみるのもよいと思います。

そして、最後に使えそうな英文を徐々にアップしていきます！過去問の模範解答です。これらをアレンジしても構いませんし、そのまま使っても構いません！

2017年度

I want to visit my grandfather in chiba. I have two reasons. First, I live in Tochigi , so I only see him during the summer vacation. Second, we can go to the beach and have fun when I visit him.（『・・・,so～』・・・だから～という文になる）

I like staying at home better. I have two reasons. First, I enjoy playing video games in my room. Second, it’s fun for me to watch TV with my family.

I want to visit Akita. I have two reasons. First, I want to go to the famous snow festival in winter. Second, there are many delicious foods to enjoy in Akita.

2018年度

I like talking with my friends better. I have two reasons. First, I can talk about anything with my friends. Second, my best friend is really funny. We always laugh a lot when we talk.

I like nature better than big cities. I have two reasons. First, I enjoy camping in the mountains with my family. Second, I can see mountains and rivers in nature.

I like reading books better than playing video games. I have two reasons. First, I can learn new words when I read books. Second, I enjoy leaning about the history of foreign cultures, so I like reading history books.

2019年度

I like Sundays the best. I have two reasons. First, I can play baseball at the park with my friends. Second, I can watch my favorite TV on Sundays.

I eat bread more often than rice. I have two reasons. First, there are many kinds of delicious bread at my favorite bakery. Second, I enjoy making sandwiches with my family.

2020年度

Yes , I often use a bike in my free time . On weekends , I ride my bike to the park with my friends . Also , riding a bike can me faster than taking a bus or train . （『Also,・・・』二つ目の理由を述べる時に使う。また、・・・という文になる）

I like swimming better than skiing . First , I don’t like cold weather , so I don’t want to go skiing . Second , I can relax when I swim . I like swimming in the sea very much .

2021年度

I usually go shopping at the mall near my house . The shopping mall is new and very big , so I can buy anything I need . Also , some shops have a special sale every month .

I like hot weather better. First, I can enjoy swimming in the pool when the weather is hot. Also, I like to eat ice cream on hot summer days.

I enjoy going to the park near my house on weekends. First, I can play soccer with my friends there. Second, I like taking pictures of the beautiful flowers and trees in the park.

2022年度

No, I don’t. First, it’s too hot in summer, so I don’t want to go festivals. Second, festivals are often very crowded. I don’t like going to crowded places.

Yes, I do. I have two reasons. First, I like eating while I look at beautiful flowers. Second, food tastes better when I eat it outside on sunny days.

I like to watch TV on Sunday mornings. First, there are interesting TV programs on Sunday mornings. Second, I can enjoy watching TV with my friends because we don’t have club activities on Sunday mornings.

2023年度

Baseball is the most exciting sport for me. First, I enjoy seeing famous baseball players at the stadium. Second, I’m very happy when my favorite team wins a big game.

Yes, I do. First, I want to work with foreign people and learn about their cultures. Second, my dream is to work for a famous fashion company in Europe.

I want to go to an Italian restaurant with my family my birthday. First, I like eating pizza and spaghetti. Second, I want to order some special desserts there.

2024年度

Yes, I do. First, I think it is convenient to live near a train station because it is easy to catch trains. Second, I love shopping at nice shops near train stations.

I like October the best. I have two reasons. First, the weather is cool and comfortable. Second, I like the autumn leaves very much. They are very beautiful in October.

2025年度

English is more interesting for me. I have two reasons. First, I enjoy learning new words. Second, I can communicate with people from different countries in English.

I like to eat chocolate when I am tired. I have two reasons. First, I become more active after I eat chocolate. Second, I always want some sweet food when I am tried.

Yes, I do. I have two reasons. First, the vegetables at the supermarket near my house are fresh and delicious. Second, it is good for my health to eat vegetables every day.
